Sponsorship

Borderlines Film Festival is a continuing success story that sponsors and funders are proud to support.

From small beginnings in 2003 with a 10 day festival and 12 venues, the Festival in 2011 reached 42 venues in Herefordshire, Shropshire and Powys with 226 screenings/events over 17 days. We have become the largest film festival in Central England and maintain this position year on year. And we are of course, Britain's biggest rural film festival.

With a dedicated fan base, large attendances, high quality and extensive publicity the Festival offers a great opportunity for companies to target the 250,000 people who live in Herefordshire and Shropshire, and to associate themselves with what has become one of the most eagerly-awaited cultural highlights of the year in the Marches.

Companies can choose to sponsor an event, a strand or the whole Festival. In return we offer corporate entertaining, branding on print and website, and wide local media coverage. We also invite distinguished directors and producers to present their work at the Festival and stage events with the support of leading organisations in the field such as BAFTA, the BFI, Film Club, Film Nation and Media Archive for Central England.

If you would like to discuss the sponsorship opportunities available with the Festival or are interested in making a donation to support our work, please contact Naomi Vera-Sanso, Executive Director.

OUR FUNDERS
The Festival's continued success depends on support from our funders and we would like to thank them: the National Lottery through the BFI, the Herefordshire Leader programme (part funded by the European Union (EAFRD) and Defra) who are supporting our increased activities in Herefordshire's villages and market towns including our subsidiary website Borderlines in the Villages, Herefordshire Council, the Shropshire Screen Consortium through the BFI Rural Cinema Pilot, Shropshire Council and Hereford City Council.
