This is an ugly duckling story about Stripes, a zebra abandoned by the circus and adopted by a farmer and his daughter. Stripes grows up longing to race like the horses around him, so with the help of his barnyard friends he sets out to achieve his dream. Like Babe this mixes live action animals (& humans), computer generated effects and the occasional animated comedy creatures. This has a good story, an enjoyable script, and with some nice turns from the humans, provides plenty of laughter for both young and old.
