The plot is simple, but the whole style is far slicker than the legendary TV series and all the old favourites are there. After Dougal (the shaggy dog) accidentally releases the evil Zeebad (the er, bouncy thing) from his prison, he and his pals Ermintrude (the Cow), Brian (the Snail) and Dylan (the stoned rabbit) embark on a quest to find three magic diamonds that will save the world. Funny, sweet and eccentric, this’ll thrill anyone under eight and indulge anyone still misty-eyed with nostalgia for the original.
