Close-up and Personal

Two regionally based filmmakers will present their very diverse work. Alan Wijgerden, based in Coventry, reveals a very individual and often playful approach to filmmaking. He has completed a First Cut for Central TV and will show two shorts, A Way of Life and Camera Angles. Matt Bedell from south Shropshire works in partnership with Dave Lawrence in Hit The Nail Productions. With a background in fine art, Matt uses music as his starting point for producing other-worldly mythic tales used as installations. Matt will be showing Spit and The Promise of Land.

We will also show feature film director Justin Edgar’s recent tragicomedy short made with young people from the Bishop’s School in Hereford called Special People.
